r/shoujo · Underrated Shojo/Josei Titles English Publisher Spotlight: Seven Seas Ent

I really like *Gene bride*. I wish it would have been longer to elaborate more on the sci-fi bits but I think it accomplished saying what it wanted to say within the 4 volumes. It doesn’t seem to be the sort of story hitomi takano normally writes, but I’ll definitely check out their future work because of how much I enjoyed it. Outside of the ones pictured, I think *Claudine* by Riyoko Ikeda is underrated. It’s the only other Ikeda work we have in English, but it’s very short and maybe even seems a bit expensive for what it is? It’s about as wide as my pinky finger and is listed as 14 USD on

r/shoujo · Shoujo with transmasc rep

NOOOOO we get **1** big representation within a decade and they do this. Can't believe a 70s shoujo does better (Claudine- yeah the ending is bad but it was at least very explicit and proud to be trans rep!)
