3x3 Eyes

r/shoujo · Any mls like this, folks?

From a shonen, but hear me out: Yakumo Fuji from 3x3 Eyes. He is probably my favorite romantic lead, ever. Through the right lens, you could say this manga a story about the devotion the 2 mains have for each other, just dressed up with some monsters and horror.

FYI all of these manga are really long. Mahou Sensei Negima (38 volumes) ended a long time ago and there is a sequel manga about the descendants of the main cast that also ended called UQ holder. Berserk's (43+ volumes) author died but the series is still going, being written by his childhood friend and former assistants. 3x3 Eyes (40 volumes) ended a long time ago but is all kinds of epic. Hunter X Hunter (39+ volumes) is still going. The author has health issues so the chapters are sporadic but it's top tier shounen/seinen manga and very much worth it.
