Kageki Shojo!!

r/shoujo · Any Manga recs where the GIRL is a famous singer?? or maybe just famous

Not your idol Full Moon Roar Girl crush (kind of) Transcendent one-sided love of Yoshida the catch (kind of) Nana Kageki Shojo!! Cat street Magical Angel creamy Mami and the spoiled princess Buddy go! For you, my ghost

r/shoujo · friendship focused series

Kageki Shojo!! is a good fit if you're up for theatre-school drama. Sarasa and Ai start from very different places, and watching the girls become friends while competing for roles is much more central than romance. Bonus: the cast gets to be ambitious and messy, not just endlessly supportive.

r/mangarecommendations · Looking for Manga Recs that are not Shonen or Seinen.

Seems like you're interested in manga with a more mature tone. While shoujo and josei both have that you most likely will find more of it among josei manga. Anyways, here are some of my recs: * Versailles no Bara * Ikkoku Nikki * Tenmaku no Jaadugar * Nana * Banana Fish * Fullmoon wo Sagashite * Kageki Shojo!! * Kamisama Gakkou no Ochikobore * Baraou no Souretsu * Bakemono Yawazukushi I'm more of a romance reader and fan of the cheesy stuff, so I probably have more to offer on that side.
