The Rose of Versailles

r/shoujo · Dont claim to be a fan of French history if you don't know who this Diva is

*Brigadier Lady Oscar François de Jarjayes*

r/shoujo · Is there any story that treat sex seriously?

The Rose of Versailles handled it well, especially in the manga. Nana also handles it well (except it does show SA too). I also believe Bokura ga ita had its moments too. But I agree with some of the comments that suggest checking out Josei. Paradise Kiss is good.

r/Seinen · Innocent is the Best historical manga of all time + best art in manga history

Just like "The Rose of Versailles" (Lady Oscar), Innocent is the way Japanese people see France's History from Louis XIV to Louis XVI.
