Akatsuki no Yona (action/adventure/romance manga) - I think you'll like both the male and female characters. Hak is amazing, and my favorite shoujo love interest. Yona is a different person at the beginning, and she's also dealing with a lot, so you just need a little patience to see her growth, but I love her. Chihayafuru (Josei sports/friendship manga with slight romance) - probably my favorite manga of all time. I love the characters and the writing. Machida-kun no Sekai - slice of life shoujo with a male protagonist. It has a bit of romance at the end too. I enjoyed this manga and the ma
