Drama Queen

r/manga · Looking for top manga haven't been animated yet

That's right, get your eyes on Kagurabachi. Peak. Also, Ichi the Witch is great. Drama Queen is hilarious and messed up but I'm not sure it'll ever get animated. A guy wants to drive out all the "peaceful" aliens on earth because he hates aliens. War of the Adults is surprisingly fun even without any fantastic elements. It's Orwellian and comedic, which is a choice. Genikasuri is about boxing, and I don't think I've ever been so invested in a boxing manga (I don't read boxing manga). I put Dogsred in the same bucket for ice hockey, but Genikasuri is waaaaaay more violent. Both are exciting

You definitely have one of the coolest collections out there!! Dorohedoro is definitely my absolute favorite. And since you have some of Tsutomu Nihei’s works, maybe give Aposimz a try??? Also, idk if I can recommend ongoing series, but I’d definitely recommend After God, Tower Dungeon, Drama Queen, Heavenly Delusion, Fool Night, Kagurabachi, Dogs: Bullets & Carnage, and Room 999. I’d love to briefly share what I like about any of these titles if you’re interested in one of them 😆

Witch and Mercenary - Starts off kind of generic, but ends up feeling like the earlier Golden Kamuy chapters with good balance of intense action and more fluffy humor. Voynich Hotel - Good introduction to Dowman Sayman's stuff, which is darkly-bizarre-funny-hitsinthefeels. Drama Queen - Feels somewhat Chainsaw Man-y, lots of dark humor and surprisingly nuanced takes on controversial topics. Boy's Abyss - Edgier, more melodramatic Oyasumi Punpun.
