r/shoujo · Looking for some insane shoujo anime/manga that brings the DRAMALife by Keiko Suenude(it's quite fast paced and I really love how the mangaka expresses each characters emotions) Partner by Miho Obana(same mangaka who made Kodancha and it's honestly a masterclass of psychological horror with symbolisms.) Helter Skelter by Kyoko Okazaki(it's a reflection of celeb culture) Haru's Curse(I think its best I don't say much) Baby and Me(I use this mangaka to get the edge off when I read something dark) Neko Mix Genkitan Toraji(another of Yumi Tamura's works) Requiem of the Rose King(it deals with gender identity in medieval times) Hitmitsu: The Top Secret

r/shoujo · Underrated Shojo/Josei Titles English Publisher Spotlight: Viz MediaBaby & Me was a fun story that VIZ published through Shojo Beat. I was lucky enough to read most of the volumes through my library. The ending is really sweet and there are tons of fun characters. I would say its a quick read about family if anyone's interested. It's an early manga by Marimo Ragawa and her art is so cute
r/shoujo · Any sad shoujo anime that focused on family bond?Baby & Me - while not actively sad and ultimately uplifting, it’s premise begins following a family in the aftermath of their mother dying and how a young boy, his baby sibling, and their single father navigate their new situation
