Blade of the immoral, claymore, golden kamuy, houseki no kuni, wave listen to me, house of 5 leaves, after god, Frieren, touge oni, ooku, 7 seeds This is a mix of Josei, seinen and shoujo and a lot of them border on dark fantasy, but all of them have excellent plot and character writing.

r/manga · What do you think is the best manga that will never have an anime adaptation?

Oresama Teacher -- Same mangaka as Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, but sadly this one isn't as popular. It's been years since the manga ended Touge Oni/Primal Gods in Ancient times -- A blend of Sci-Fi and mythology. Manga has been ongoing for years now, but it's still very obscure. Doesn't help that the chapter releases are very slow.
