Yeah, I loved the fact that it's not a perfect happy ending and it felt so realistic. I didn't like the live action tho. Although the acting is really good (damn Song Kang is reaaaally charming as Jae-eon).

Oof, idk why I was kinda obsessed with it for a minute but watched the live action film version so it wasn't too much for me, and tbh...also really enjoyed the music ! It's a pretty simple story, nothing too complex, very light hearted and weight wasn't too much...from my memory.

Lord of the Mysteries is very good! I loved the donghua, but it can be very confusing if you don't know what is happening prior to watching. I still recommend giving it a shot. Leveling with the Gods does not have any female lead or other love interest. His focus is on his friendships (and how he can manipulate others). There are a lot of male characters he is very close with. The Live is not very bl-coded, but it does avoid romantic relationships for favor of bromance. It does have a romantic interest, but it is the MC's wife and she is not present for the story >!since she is dead!< SSS-
