There’s plenty of manga that people would consider to be the best that are finished  Vinland Saga, The Climber, Innocent, Monster, 20th Century Boys, Billy Bat, Paradise Kiss, Land of the lustrous, Rookies, Slam Dunk, multiple Jojo parts, Tokyo Ghoul, Beck, Full metal alchemist etc

r/manhwa · [Discussion] Why are there so many unknown, underrated Manhwa out there?

Yep. Some really good unknown mangas out there like Homunuculus, MPD Psycho or The Climber are all from non mainstream generes

r/mangarecommendations · Help me to pick one

I would say Climber though both are excellent

r/mangarecommendations · Help me to pick one

Both are excellent, but the climber is more consistently great and easier to digest

r/mangarecommendations · After a relatively short but deep manga series for a busy dad

If you want a relatively short, aimed for adult and clever plot manga, you should try reading (or watching) Monster by Naoki Urasawa. Widely regarded as one of the best adult manga out there. If you want something with a less clever plot but more metaphorical and deep character development, I reccomend The Climber by Shinichi Sakamoto. He is one of my favorite mangaka, highly recommended this one, about the same length as Monster \~170 chapters. Lastly, if you want something for adults and had an INSANELY clever plot with THE best mindgames in manga, you could consider reading Usogui by Tosh
