Rainy Day Serenade

r/shoujo · Shoujo mangas with YEARNING

Cannot believe no one has mentioned it yet but Namida Ame to Serenade/Rainy Day Serenade. Old Timey shoujo with lots of yearning if you haven’t read it yet. Enjoy. Also! I really like Taisho Otome Fairy Tale, not sure if it is technically shoujo but it heavily features romance. Not enough people talk about it. Has an anime and manga. I think it even has a sequel of sorts? So good.

r/shoujo · With Anime NYC 2026 fast approaching, here are my most-anticipated Shojo/Josei future English physical releases!

Ikoku Nikki is easily the big one for me, with Fire! and Sword of Paros close behind. Lot of good ones on this list though, Rainy Day Serenade, Seaside Where Dragon Boys Dwell, Studio Cabana, and Champignon Witch are just a few I'd been asking for a while now. I really hope we get an update on True Blue Never Fades soon...the Kickstarter it was a part of hasn't updated since May and it's worrying me.

r/shoujo · Manga recommendations similar to Re-living my life with a boyfriend who doesn’t remember me!!!

Namida-Ame to Serenade has yearning ML too with a good artstyle and fun side characters. Anything by Kodama Yuki is also fun, for the first one prolly Blue Flowers in the Ceramic Forest.

r/shoujo · CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A SHOUJO MANGA RECOMMENDATION? LIKE THE BEST ONE THAT GETS YOU HOOKED AND IS STILL GOOD AS I READ?!!???
