"Kaguya Wants to be confessed to" really was the subs darling for a long while, huh? Surprised by how much presence it has in the top 50. No other romcom besides Quintessential Quintuplettes with a single chapter and My dress-up darling with 2 even made it on the list, but kaguya has 1/6th of the spots. Between that and Oshi no ko, the author truly knows how to get people *invested*, for better or worse. Yeah that's the saving grace; Kaguya's ending was objectively just meh that got an ok-ish epilogue. Well, it was bad for a series of its quality but when comparing it to CSM and Oshi No Ko.... yeah lmao

Kaguya ending wasn't *that* bad, was it? I wouldn't say it crashed, but the ending was most certainly not the peak of the series quality.  On the other hand, I didn't read oshi no ko but know that the ending is practically considered the stories self-immolation. Fujimoto and CSM was... something.

Man, Kaguya really fell tf off. It was really annoying reading that last 100 something stretch of the manga once they got together. Felt like the most unnecessary bloat. Then again, that's also how I felt with the author's other series - Oshi No Ko. Felt like such a whiff down the last few volumes.
