Murata (Eyeshield 21 - one punch man)

r/manga · People are way too generous with the "romcom" label when recommending manga

Totally agree. Imo the problem is that the comedy tag is thrown around too loosely in general. Considering how deeply rooted comedy is in Japanese culture, most manga will have some sort of comedic elements. At the time of writing, if you search AniList for the "Comedy" genre, the results in order are: 1. Chainsaw Man 2. ONE PIECE 3. My Hero Academia 4. One-Punch Man 5. SPY x FAMILY 6. Horimiya 7. Kaguya-sama: Love Is War 8. Dandadan 9. Hunter x Hunter 10. Black Clover 11. Komi Can't Communicate 12. Haikyu!! 13. My Dress-Up Darling 14. SAKAMOTO DAYS 15. Dr. STONE 16. Dorohedoro 17. Fullmetal

r/manga · Looking for some manga suggestions based on what I've collected/read. (Manga that I can physically get in the US is preferred)

If you like GANTZ, check out BLAME! If you like Dai Dark, you must read Dorohedoro. If you are a fan of Mob Psycho, I am assuming you also enjoy One Punch Man?

r/mangarecommendations · Does anyone know any comedy manga I should try reading

Basically any work by ONE (known for One punch man and Mob psycho one hundred). His style of visual humor comes well across any language barrier. The art may be a bit crude, but personally it has grown on me. So that would be, One Punch Man, Makai no Ossan, Mob psycho one hundred and Reigen.
