Old-Fashioned Cupcake

r/mangarecommendations · BL manga

If you like action(?) I'd recommend looking for policeman/yakuza/yankee trope. My recommendation on this would be honto yajuu(light-hearted) and canis series(heavier). If you want more light-hearted and realistic, look for office worker manga. Rec: sono koi, jihanki de kaemasuka?(personal fav, the couple is so cute!), old fashioned cupcake. Sometimes you'll find certain authors who always make stories in style that you like, you'll be lucky if they already have a lot of works! There are lots and lots and lots of really good manga! I hope you can find one that resonates with you.

Old-Fashioned Cupcake is ridiculously cute and fluffy, however it does have *some* explicit scenes in it. It's wholesome with a side of spice, lol. If you'd rather avoid them completely, the first book was turned in a drama that skips all those scenes (it's on Viki iirc).
