Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic

r/shoujo · Are there any indian or middle Eastern inspired mangas?

Magi: Labyrinth of Magic is loosely based off of 1001 Nights The Heroic Legend of Arslan  RG Veda is based off Hindu folklore, though uses the Japanese names for the gods.

A few good ones were already recommended, haven't seen these though, so here you go: <Mairimashita! Iruma-kun>, <Magi>, <World Trigger>, <Shadows House>. Not really a manga but I have to recommend <Kubera>, we just passed the 600+ mark and the story keeps getting better.

r/manga · Recommendations

Berserk, Dorohedoro, Gantz, Shangri-La Frontier, Gachiakuta, Magi - Sinbad, Magi - labyrinth of magic, katekyo hitman reborn, Air Gear, Hell Mode, Chainsaw Man, dai dark, hells paradise, Claymore, Vagabond, Jagaan..... those are all my favourites anyway. Maybe im psychopathic for liking a majority of disturbing stories. Theres alot more but cant think of them atm anyway.
