Dorohedoro

It's bloody and weird like Fujimoto, Dorohedoro! Over the top and crazy with an enthralling mystery driving the plot forward.

I second the Dorohedoro recommendation, from the same author there's also Dai Dark. https://preview.redd.it/9rgohfcbxtmh1.jpeg?width=728&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4ae65c1e8c5b8cddad5644f2700065001da45d30

r/mangarecommendations · Cool abilities/spells

Dorohedoro has a wide variety of magic, some of which is really creative, both in terms of concept and utilisation.

Blood on the Tracks by the Flowers of Evil author. Also maybe Fire Punch and Dorohedoro.

r/mangarecommendations · Recommendations of more mature manga

Dorohedoro is great if you like darker stuff. It can get a bit confusing, but everything is explained in the end. It has a very unique art style. And also has some really funny moments, very good characters, and world building. Vinland Saga would be more like Vagabond if you want an adventure style manga. I love the art in that because it’s very clean and the battle scenes are excellent. But it’s definitely more than just about fighting. I’m 48 and those are my top two out of about 30 series that I’ve read recently.
