I'd say that Full Metal Alchemist would be OK. Sure, there are some scary things (like creatures created by some of the alchemists), but I don't think it's something an almost teen can't handle. I've read only a few chapters of it, but Teasing Master Takagi-san could work. It's basically about a 11-12 year old boy constantly being teased by his classmate and trying to get back at her. What I've read was cute. I don't know if it had release where you live though. Oh, and if she liked One Piece and MHA, you could go with other big shonens, like Naruto and/or Bleach.

Inuyasha isn't porn merely because the main relationship is between the 200 year old Inuyasha and the 15 year old Kagome. Bleach isn't porn because Yoruichi had a baked bath with 15 year old Ichigo Kurosaki. Even something like Rurouni Kenshin with the 28 year old Kenshin and the 17 year old Kaoru.
