My favorite manga, since this is a manga recommendation sub, is probably [Bitter Virgin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitter_Virgin). No, it's not ecchi but is fairly dark. It's got a 7.75 rating on MAL so maybe not unbelievably underrated.

this might be a little different for you since it’s a romance and a shoujo, but Bitter virgin is so good, it’s only 21 chapters but 1 chapter feels long in my opinion. very good development with so little chapters. I will say although you probably dont care since you’ve read oyasumi punpun, TW for rape (NOT in a romanticized way), incest (NOT in a romanticized way), and abuse (NOT in a romanticized way). personally, bitter virgin is my favorute manga of ALLL time i find it great masterpiece. oh and it’s a mixture of comedy, drama, and romance.
